Assistant Director

Miss Marrissa
Miss Marissa has her level one in Early Childhood Education, she joined the SDCVK family in August of 2021. Her plans for the future are to continue to further her education in child development. Working with children has always been her passion. Her daughter attends our center as well and she feels as a mother it is crucial that the children and their environment are cared for like her own. She is a strong believer that the children we care for are the leaders of tomorrow, and it all starts here with our little ones.

Miss Soleil
Executive Director
Miss Soleil is our Executive Program Director. She has been with our Centre since March of 2019, she currently has her level one is early childhood education and is pursuing her level two. In her spare time she loves to listen to broadway and paint! She loves working with all of the age groups and works hard helping to run all of our programs at SDCVK.
Mr. Markus
Valley Kids Out Of School Program
Mr. Markus has been working in our Valley Kids Out of School Program since August of 2018. He currently has a level one in Early Childhood Education, and has plans to further his education in childhood development. His five year old son also attends our afterschool program and loves it! In his spare time he enjoys playing board games and spending time with his family.


Miss Holly
Preschool Program
Miss Holly has been a part of our amazing team since December of 2020. She is currently teaching in our preschool program. She is excited to grow and learn alongside her students. She currently has her level one in Early Childhood Education, but is attending Red Deer College pursuing her level two. Working with children is something that she has grown to love and can’t wait for many more years of teaching and learning!
Miss Kiya
Preschool Program
Miss Kiya currently has her level one in early childhood education, and is pursing her level two through Red Deer Polytechnic. She has always loved being around children and watching them grow. She know the early years in a child's life are crucial to becoming capable, confident adults. In her spare time she enjoys playing field hockey, crocheting, and spending time with friends.


Miss Brooklyn
Daycare Program
Miss Brooklyn is currently working on obtaining her level one in early childhood education. She has been with out centre since October of 2021, working with our toddler age group.
" Working for the daycare has been the most rewarding job I've had thus far. Working alongside
such wonderful people, and watching the children grow and learn new things is truly a beautiful thing. Looking forward to continuing on in my child care."

Mr Bailey
Valley Kids Program
Mr. Bailey has his level one in early childhood education. He started with our centre October of 2021, working in our before and after school program.
"I’ve thought a lot about becoming a teacher and working in a field of education, working at the daycare has not disappointed. Building a connection with all of the children and meeting the wonderful staff has been so fulfilling. I look forward to continuing my education and continuing to build that connection with all of our children and families."
